Renovating a home your self can feel like jumping sometimes down a cliff and not knowing if there’s going to be water here to split your autumn. It’s exhilarating and challenging…and you don’t quite discover how it’s likely to come out. I am able to design an area from day to night, but framing walls and moving plumbing work is another matter! Needless to say we did exactly that – and also for the very first time! – inside our laundry room that is recent renovation.

While my times are spent creating for customers, my weekends and nights are invested with my better half (and kiddos!) on our 1972 fixer upper (start to see the full BEFORE trip). Once we purchased our home this room ended up being unfinished and housed the laundry, a store sink, furnace, and hot water heater. There are no windows (SIGH) therefore the space had been big black colored gap of sadness:
A floor had been a vinyl-like tile, the roof and walls had been totally open, and there was clearly one depressing lamp
with a pull switch that lit the entire room. Begin to see the sequence dangling at the very top right?
My objectives had been to:
The program would be to pile the washer and dryer contrary to the wall that is far build it into semi-custom cabinetry by having a sink towards the left. To do that, we needed to expand the wall that is oldbehind the washer and dryer, above) and pull the sink ahead a few legs.
